Holidays in Washington

Although we're getting icy rain today, it's a lovely white Christmas time in Washington, more than I ever expected. Dinner last night, at our rescheduled restaurant (there was a kitchen fire at Equinox and they rebooked us at Marcel's) was wonderful! The last time I had goose was in an indigenous community in Quebec province, and this was equally sublime. It was a lovely evening. Today, it's amazing to just be at home! I feel terribly selfish and wonderfully excited at the same time. Here are some photos of our little holiday. For the first time in years, we've been able to extract from the storage unit all the amazing Christmas things people have given us or we've collected on our travels, and have them out. Look closely -- I'm sure you'll see something you've given us! Happy Holidays.
